Florence, this is the city of Assassin's Creed 2! Honestly, I was quite jacked about coming here. Not so much that I'm a AC fun but that I always wanted to visit the real world location of some game. It'll be living through a déjà vu! And it was exactly like that. We went past a governor's residence and I immediately recognized that place. I threw a dead body down from the roof once. Ha! And the Florence old market had one of those secret symbols. Looks like it is true that you learn things from games. If it is real world related at least.
Scaled the walls and killed a ton of people here. |
Then we went to Siena. According to the local guide, this place is the rival city of Florence with direct competitions like trade route, tourists and things like that. It is full of hills and people there adapt to it. Tables have two of their legs lengthened, houses are tightly packed to save space and are built according to the incline of that hill. Pretty impressive indeed!
