Been playing this game today, Bastion. It is a pretty standard RPG, with different weapon and levels. The only thing different is its storytelling. It tells you the story from the point of view of an narrator, the writer of a journal. It tells you what you have done as you do it. It's pretty unique and fresh, especially seeing how these narrating react to your actions.

The story of Bastion is centered around the destruction of the world. It is about how a few people trying to rebuild it with the Bastion. How the truth about the destruction turned one guy into a traitor. And eventually, how the traitor is forgiven (or not forgiven) and the world saved (not saved). It is a rather simple story, but the way it is told make one really feel the emotions of each event, hope, sadness, grief. A game worth playing.
